Beautiful vintage brass pedestal compote featuring elaborate floral and scrolling foliate repoussé decoration. The dimensional design is raised on the exterior and recessed on the interior, with an aged warm-brass patina that highlights the intricate detailing. A gorgeous old-world decorative piece for a dining table, bookshelf, console or collected interior.
The compote has some surface scratches and minor signs of wear throughout, consistent with its age and previous use. There is also natural variation in the patina and finish, adding to its vintage character. Please see photos for condition.
